Corporate Giving

Sharing Our Gifts

Since the first residents and employees arrived at Charlestown in 1983, we have been making lives better for everyone within our reach among residents, employees, local communities, and national organizations. Erickson supports the realization that every employee and resident can contribute through volunteerism in ways that foster our objectives of leadership, growth, talent, health care, and corporate social responsibility. Through donating our time, talents, and treasures, employees and residents alike can truly make a difference.

Erickson has a long history of charitable investments throughout the community. We give in support of our employees’ charitable passions as well as to community partners that create engagement opportunities for our residents and staff.

Each campus leaves its own charitable footprint on its surrounding community. Employees and residents across the country celebrate life by giving time and talent to worthy causes.

In 2008 Erickson announced partnerships with a select group of national organizations with whom they have shared history of Erickson’s staff and employees’engagement and impact.  The Erickson Mission Partner Initiative was created to increase the charitable reach and impact through focusing resources. The current list of Erickson National Mission Partners is the American Diabetes Association (ADA), Susan G. Komen for the Cure®, and the Alzheimer’s Association.

The American Diabetes Association (ADA) is the leading organization that helps people with and affected by diabetes to lead a productive fulfilling life. The organization also represents the most comprehensive source of diabetes information in the competitive marketplace of associations.

The Susan G. Komen for the Cure® aims to eradicate breast cancer as a life-threatening disease by advancing research, education, screening, and treatment. The promise of Susan G. Komen for the Cure is to save lives and end breast cancer forever by empowering people, ensuring quality care for all, and energizing science to find the cures.

The Alzheimer’s Association seeks to eliminate Alzheimer's disease through the advancement of research to provide and enhance care and support for all affected, and to reduce the risk of dementia through the promotion of brain health.
